GSView Created PDF's Crash Acrobat Reader

Hi there,

I just discovered and downloaded Ghostscript and GSView to day while looking
for a solution to make pdf's. It seems to work well, but pdf's created with
GSView crash Acrobat Reader when I try to print. Other pdf's do not.

Reader has worked well for quite some time. I had been using 5.05 and
upgraded today to 5.1 hoping to cure this problem, but no luck.

99% of my pdf files are fine, just those created with Ghostscript and GSView
cause Reader to crash as soon as I open a print dialog box. They display
fine, but crash as soon as print opens.

The error is at 017f: XXXXXXXX so I think it is stepping on video memory.

Any suggestions?

ACRORD32 caused an exception 10H in module ACRORD32.EXE at 017f:0055b420.

Updated information:

Very interesting! If I change my default printer, the problem goes away. It
only happened when using my HP 6MP postscript printer as default. With PCL
or one of my inkjets, no problem.

Does this help diagnose the problem?

I tried getting the latest Adobe Postcript driver and that did not help. I
have th latest HP driver. Interesting that it will only crash if my only
Postscript printer is selected as default.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks.
