Running GSVIEW ver. 2.0 with Ghostscript Aladdin ver. 4.03

Hi,
I'm a novice with postsript. I've installed the most recent versions of
GSVIEW (ver. 2.0) and of GhostScript (ver. 4.03).
When I tried to run the program, I got the following error message:

Loaded Ghostscript DLL C:\GSTOOLS\gs4.03\gsdll32.dll
Wrong version of DLL found.
Found version 403
Need version 401
Unloaded GSDLL

I wonder, is it possible to run this combination, or do I need a more
updated version of GSVIEW. If so, where can I get it?

I think the most recent version is 2.1 something. Try
www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost
for the most recent stuff.

Version 2 of GSVIEW will not work with GS 4.03. You need version 2.1

Maybe some functionality will be lost, but you can
edit (with text editor) file gs_init.ps to change version
number from 401 to 403, and ghostview will run.
