Scaling a single page onto multiple pages?

We have developed a program specially to do so.
You give it an input PS file,
the pagesize for which it was formatted (often -default- A4),
the (larger) size you want to scale to (for instance A0 or even A-1),
and finally the size of the sheets you want to print the poster on (A4 or A3).
The program generates cutmarks and slightly overlapping drawings,
for easier assembly of the result.
You can pick the program with anonymous ftp from 'ftp.es.ele.tue.nl'
as pub/down/poster.tar.Z
