---Yes, there's IBM's PL/I for OS/2, an excellent compiler.  It's
available in 2 versions:

1.   personal edition, comes complete with 6 manuals etc; and
2.   profession edition, for those who want to develop in conjunction with the
        mainframe.

   There's also the Visual PL/I package, which contains a number of tools, including
the live-parsing editor (shows you your syntax errors as you type).
