And, guess what the screen size was on the early 2260's.

Some real Think Outside The Box folks back there in the 1960's
at IBM.

Obviously meant to handle the output of the 047 paper-tape-to-card
converter, which had additional possible punches in rows 1 and 3 of
column 82.

That's the one I meant.
The (now-stripped attribution) reference was to the
number 960: IOW,  shows up again in 24x40.

Hell, now I don't even remember the earlier topic.
Maybe it was WRT the 12-row, 80-col 2540 reader buffer memory.
