Help! Interbase stored procedures causing server failure!

We are currently experiencing problems with cache buffers on
Netware 3.12 running Interbase 4.0

The problem that seems to be occurring involves the running of
stored procedures on the server.

Each stored procedure is prepared, executed and unprepared.
Whilst running the procedure, the cache memory on the server is
used - transferring the cache to non-movable cache memory. After
execution and subsequent unpreparing, the memory allocated is not
being freed up for genearl use.

Has anyone experienced this problem or got a work around.
Is this a known bug?
