has anybody figured out how to do this?

I worked with sybase sql anywhere and got some strange errors, while the
same thing works in in 32 bit version or vice versa. So I tried to connect
to 16 bit data source with 32 bit application just to find out whether it is
bde or client bug. I see all 16 bit drivers and aliases in bdeadmin, but
when I try to connect I get "driver not known to the system".

Any clues?
