Newbie: Delphi and dBaseIII Tables - Hairs turning Grey!!!

Are there any good doc's for implementing dbaseIII tables in Delphi?  I
am new to delphi (1 week) and have been given the task of re-writing all
our DBIII apps into Delphi.  I understand Delphi doesn't support
non-maintained NDX files and there are some new components that do this
but I can't find any docs on how to use these components.  I d/l a
maketable.pas and installed it's component but when I try to use it I
get errors.

I am just looking for a good reference to free/shareware components that
I can use to do this project.

Thanks,

Larry

Larry,
I'm not sure if DB3 has the MDX files; however, DB4 2.0 certainly does -
this is what I moved from.  The MDX file while larger than a NDX file is
better because it is updated automatically without the need for
reindexing.  I know Delphi supports both the NDX & MDX.  There are some
limitations with the type of NDX or MDX that you can have.

Best of Luck,
Michael
