How to flush the buffers?

 How to flush the buffers?

I have a problem with printing reports (Crystal Reports) from a database
form. The problem is that the report contains old data if I edit the
table before printing, so the editings haven't been written to disk yet.

One solution is to close the table before printing, then print the report
and finally reopen the table, but there must be an easier way to flush
the table data to disk. Is there?
