Dynamic WHERE clause in Stored Procedures within INTERBASE ?

Hi there,

Does anybody know if it is possible to have a dynamic WHERE clause within a
defined stored procedure ?

I need to beable to let the user pass a random number of parameters (which
are used in the WHERE clause) when the procedure is called.  At the moment
if a NULL parameter is used in the WHERE clause an empty result set is
returned.  This is why I would like to modify the WHERE clause depending on
the value of the passed parameters.

Is there anyway of getting around this problem ?

Thanks very much
