 MS Access 2.0 versus Delphi 3.0

I would like to use a MS Access 2.0 database with delphi 3.0. Please Could
someone tell me where can I find a possible driver to make that possible?

Thanks a Lot.

Supposedly this is now handled by native drivers, but you can't prove
that by me. If you want to use ODBC, one place to check for the driver
is
http://www.webbase.com/odbcC.htm

If you go that route
        1.      Install the ODBC driver
        2.      Set up an ODBC source using the driver to your database,
                using the 32ODBC program in control panel
        3.      Set up a connection to this using BDE Administrator -> Object
->
                ODBC Administrator
        4.      Set up an alias using this (step 3) setting.

That oughta do it.

Good luck (and if you find out about the Native Driver question, let
me know, ok?).

I think you can open end edit tables in Access 2.0 databases using the driver
included with Borland. The DAO 3.0 is required though.

My SINCERE advice is:

Throw the Microfoft GARBAGE called access away and use STANDARD dBASE
tables!

//GF (using dBASE since 1984)
