After reading the book, I spent a week at the Object Mentor XP training
course.
They called it  'Immersion Training' and it was!

Most of the lecture was given by Kent Beck, and parts by Martin Fowler,
Ron Jeffries, and Robert Martin..  There were hands-on exercises to really
drive home
the XP ideas, and free-wheeling evening sessions to ask the eXperts about
anything.

I'd highly recommend the classes for anyone interested in learning more
in-depth and hands-on.   Future class schedules can be found at:
