 Bitmap Manipulation

I am working on this application with SV/Win that uses the RecordingPen on
a TurtleWindow to display a fairly large graphic.  I have noticed that whenever
I start plotting on x-coordinates above 1,200 or so, the window won't scroll
over to see the rest of it.  I assume this has something to do with the screen
width of 1040, right?  Well, I would like to know if there is any way for me
to create wider graphics than this. I would also like to know if there is any
way for me to save the graphics of the window to a bitmap file, so I can
import it into other windows packages.  I guess I could use the Bitmap class,
but it is my understanding that you cannot use the turtle graphic techniques
and the scaled fonts when writing directly to a bitmap.  Any ideas?
