protected mode problem in Windows NT?

Greetings,

I've compiled a program with borland Pascal 7
with the protected mode (/cp) option to allow
use of extended memory.  Using the run-time
memory extender RTM.EXE, the program works
fine under Windows 2000 and OS/2 (from MS-DOS
prompt windows), but it halts immediately under
Windows NT, giving runtime error # 216.

Does anyone know the explanation and/or fix for
this apparently NT-specific problem?

Thank you,

Jeff
