This is a weekly reminder of the existence of the monthly FAQ
list for the newsgroup Comp.lang.oberon.  The FAQ list answers many
frequently asked questions (FAQs) about Oberon, both the
programming language and the OS.
Certain questions and topics come up frequently in this
newsgroup.  The FAQ list is an attempt to gather these questions
and their answers into a single, convenient document.  It is posted
here once each month.  The hope is that the FAQ list will cut down
on both user time and network bandwidth used to post, read, and
respond to the same questions over and over again.

                             PLEASE!

If you have a question about Oberon, read the FAQ list first.
If a FAQ comes up, do not answer it but instead direct the asker to
the FAQ list.
The Comp.lang.oberon FAQ list is posted to this newsgroup
during the first week of each month.  The list is also sent to the
newsgroups News.answers and Comp.answers.  The latest version of
the FAQ list is available via anonymous ftp from rtfm.mit.edu as
/pub/usenet/news.answers/Oberon-FAQ.

Thanks,
Mike "call me FAQ" Gallo
