 Looking for Oberon compiler...

I'm looking for a PD/free Oberon compiler.  Does such a beast exist?  I'd like
to use it in my graduate PL class next quarter.

Thanks, DL

I know of no PD Oberon compilers.  ETH does distribute publicly available
compilers, free to use.  You will find the latest Sun4 and Mac versions in

    ftp.psg.com:~/pub/oberon

Yes, there are PD-Versions of Oberon. You can get them from 129.132.101.33
neptune.inf.ethz.ch by using anonymous ftp. We currently have ports to the
following platforms: Decstation, MacII, RS6000, SPARC. There you will also
find a PC-Version named Oberon-M. In addition you can ftp the official re-
ports about Oberon as well as the documentation about its libraries.
