Can anyone help me solve this problem:
When I run my program with VID, it goes step by step through the import
modules, but then it just passes through my program, as if I entered "Go
Forever". Sometimes it does this, sometimes not. Please help, I am
desperate, I can't rely on my de{*filter*}.

Also one more thing:
Sometimes, the same program will give different results when run from
modula2 frontend, than wher run from VID. It confuses me, I don't know who
to trust.

No idea about your first question, but:

I have seen this in other systems.  It usually is because you have a
variable you use the value of before you set it.

What happens then is that the normal runtime system sets it to one
(more or less random) value, and the de{*filter*} sets it to another (more
or less random) value.
