clever lawyers, public-relations brainstorms and a giant corporation's ardor

Someone recently posted something to this forum that has really stuck in my
mind, and which has connotations to Microsofts donations.

"As if the music was in the instrument."

When will people recognize and acknowledge that it's the teacher that makes
the difference, and we ought to be pouring money into helping them do their
job (smaller classes, lighter loads) rather than large school buildings,
computers and equipment.
