using analog and digital frame grabbers simultaneously

Is it possible to capture an analog signal with PCI 1411 and signals
from two different digital cameras with PCI 1422 all at the same time?

Dewey,

The direct answer is 'yes' you can. Both boards have trigger inputs as
to trigger the start of an acquisition at the same time for both
boards. I would suggest RTSI connectivity but the 1411 does not has
it. So external trigger inputs will do the job to start the
acquisition at the same time.

However, the first question you should ask is if your PCI bus is
capable of sustaining the amount of data that is going to be
transferred, usually you won't see a problem, but in some cases the
bandwidth will not allow it. Just check it, based in the size of the
image, pixel depth and frame rate.

Since every board is an independent interface, each board can
independently provide image capture, though you can synchronize the
acquisition. In the case of the 1411 you will have a synchronization
accuracy of +/- 1 frame.

Good luck!

Nestor.
