I am successfully using WinRT USB from Bsquare (www.bsquare.com). This software automatically creates a windows driver for the USB device and allows me to make function calls to a supplied dll with the call library function. So far it's working great. I haven't tried any high speed transfers yet. Not all functions in the USB spec are supported. Download the manual from Bsquare.com.
