 Parallel Computing Forum

KAI is sponsoring an effort with parallel machine manufacturers to
standardize the common forms of parallel extensions to fortran.

The Parallel Computing Forum is going through an organizational
phase at this time.  During this organizational phase, membership
has been limited to allow for a clear definition of the goals
and the structure of the forum.

Meetings will be opened to a wider audience (currently anticipated
to include representatives from computer manufacturers, compiler
houses, third party application software houses, and selected
others) starting with the January 1988 meeting.

Further details on Parallel Computing Forum will be presented
after the second organizational meeting in mid November.
