I'm new to forth and have to write a program in it.
can anyone tell me how to write arays of variables, or
give me pointers on how to access organised areas of memory?

As always with personal quiries, Email me.

Don't worry, other beginners read comp.lang.forth and are probably interested
in anything that comes up.

Anyway:  Do you actually mean "arrays of numbers"?  If so, you may do
something like  CREATE FOO 20 ALLOT

This allocates 20 bytes to a new thing called FOO.  Those bytes may represent
20 characters, 10 single-length integers, or whatever else fits in evenly.
Doing FOO causes the address of the first byte to be pushed onto the parameter
stack.

What reading have you done so far?
