 release form - from menubar of top level form ?

I have a TOP LEVEL FORM with menubar

I would create one item "Quit" on this menubar.
(simulate the top right corner button labelled "x" )

i.e. with a button control I use in _click method_ the command :
THISFORM.RELEASE()
but I have no success with menubar (??)

thanks

When you  create the menu in he Menu Designer, check the option In Toplevel
Form in the Menu Designer's General Options dialog.

????

euh!
my question is:
(remember I have a form and a menu (toplevel).... i would just add a "quit"
item)

  for item menu is not possible assign command: thisform.release()
  and if use command    : DO mycmd.prg AND mycmd.prg contain
thisform.release()
  no success (because object thisform is unknown

  evidently, I am not a specialist :-)
