Foxpro 2.6 e-mail in 32 bit OS, Win95 and NT

I am looking for resources  on how to put email send and recieve
capabilities in a 32 bit operating system using Foxpro 2.6 for Windows. Any
resources or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

What sort of email system do you have?  The sending is easier than the receive,
how easy depends on your email system.  Have you checked out FoxMAPI?

Hi Randal and Eric,

FoxMAPI is a 16-bit MAPI interface, and will not work on Win95 or WinNT 4.

Tom DeMay published some EMail articles in the Dec 96 and Jan 97 FoxPro
Advisor.  He also posted a
DDEMAPI.exe on the CompuServe FoxUsers forum, which provides a DDE interface
between FP 2.6 and Mapi32.  Here's an exert from his readme:
==========================================================
MAPI DDE Interface v1.0

What it is:
This application is provided to use with systems that can not access
the MAPI OCX's or DLL's on a 32 bit system to send E-Mail.
There are two methods of use. You can launch the application
and pass your message on the command line, or you can pass
information to the application via DDE. The benefit to using the DDE
method is you can query the ErrorMessage variable to determine
success or failure.

Good Luck
