was e-mailed to me on Jan 24th, and is regarding Xbase++ and related

"Porting FoxPro to Xbase++". Ready summer 97

I have offered to Alaska software to submit status reports to this
newsgroup at regulare intervals (2 to 3 weeks), since Alaska Software
has difficulty in doing this.  I have no relationship with this
company, but hope fervently that they keep us DOS and WIN95 users
in mind too !!

Mel :

Does this mean there are no plans for a Win95 version of xbase++?

Dale,
In their latest communications to me, they haven't mentioned
WIN95 specifically, but in December, their was mention of WIN95
(I believe). I think we have to wait for the whitepaper and PR stuff
to make any judgement of their plans.  OS/2 is at the top of their
list though.
