 Comix/1002 (FPT) Error AND DOS 1, 8 & 15872 Error

Hi Guys & Girls,

Anyone got some brilliant thoughts on what I can do about the following
error(s);

Error Comix/1002   Open error: G:\order\faktreg.fpt (Dos error 8)

and

Error Comix/1002   Open error: G:\order\faktreg.fpt (Dos error 15872)

and

Error Comix/1002   Open error: G:\order\faktreg.fpt (Dos error 1)

The stack at the time of these errors looks like this;

Lockerrhan(0)
(b) Inithandl$(0)
Dbusearea(0)
DDComix/DD:Use(722)
..
etc

IOW this error occurs when the faktreg.dbf is opened.

The 1002 error isn't specified in the Comix NG (starts with 1003). The
standard Clipper 1002 runtime error is the 'undefined alias' one,which
doesn't apply either.

Dos error 1, 8 and especially 15872 don't make much sense to me either.

Seems like some sort of corruption of the FPT file.
But I can open the faktreg table without problems with DBX and none of
the memo-fields give any problems then...

I'm a bit puzzeled and the client a bit frustrated, sopleasealso cc a

Anne.
