 CW2001.01 Trouble with transferring data from BASIC to TPS

Hi folks

I'm trying to use the Process template for this purpose.
I set it up to process the BASIC file and ADD() them to
a TPS file. Although there are only 200 records in the
BASIC file the process lasts for about one minute. And,
after it has finished nothing happend to the TPS file!
No records have been added!

Here is what I did:
In the "action for each record" embed I inserted the following:

DST:Field1=SRC:Field1
DST:Field2=SRC:Field2
.
.
.
ADD(destination)          ! prefix is DST

What's wrong? I actually don't think the problem has got
something to do with the sort of driver...

After the Add, do a BUILD(Destination)

This will rebuild your TPS Files Keys.

The slower method is to use APPEND(destination instead of ADD. This
will update the key as it adds the record.

For speed, try looking in the DOCS under STREAM.

Hope this helps.

Try to add here:

IF ERRORCODE() > 0 THEN
  MESSAGE('Could not add to destination file ' & CHR(10) |
        & 'Errorcode: ' & ERRORCODE() & CHR(10) |
        & 'Error: ' & ERROR(),'ERROR: Can''t add to file')
END

Then at least you will know why it doesn't add to it:)  You have the
basic file as the process file then,... made sure the tps file is
open?

Best regards,
