Legacy example of showing a status screen for a DNSless connection to an MS SQL database

Hello.

Does anyone know of an legacy example that shows a status screen for a
DNSless connection to an MS SQL database?
The example ODBC join is an ABC example or the equivalent code/embeds in a
legacy application.

Thank you in advance.
