Announcing a workshop (UK) on the MISRA C Guidelines

The UK's Motor Industry Software Reliability Association (MISRA) are
running a workshop on the MISRA C Guidelines in Coventry (UK), on Thursday
14th October.

Details and registration information are available from the MISRA web site
http://www.*-*-*.com/
(follow the link "Future Forum Meetings").

The MISRA C Guidelines, "Guidelines For the Use Of The C Language In
Vehicle Based Software", were published in April 1998. They address the use
of C in safety related embedded systems and, although written for the
automotive industry, have been well received and used in other embedded
systems industries.

The workshop is intended as a user forum, and as far as possible will be
tailored to the requests of attendees. The morning session of the workshop
will consist of tutorials given by the authors of the Guidelines. In the
afternoon there will be opportunity for discussion, suggestions, questions
and general feedback.
