I am trying to determine if it is possible for me to use VB 3.0 to perform
various I/O and modem communications (I know its _possible_).  I have searched
for VBXs and other info, but to no avail.  I know that there is support in VB
4.0 Pro and I think there is in 3.0 Pro, but alas, being poor I can't afford
the hefty price tag.  I have a CD that came with an instruction book that uses
a suitable library, but it is only registered to run the sample program.  Is
there a freeware/shareware VBX or DLL out there suitable to this purpose
(with documentation)?  Is there a _legitimate_ way to do this with the
software I already have? Is there anyone who wants to give me their copy of
Pro?
