 VB6 SP1 ok, how about the vbrun60.exe

Hello all,

Ok, we now have the VB6 Service Pack1, and we are all glad... ;-)

But until the vbrun60.exe is updated, (which is NOT) one can't release its programs,
unless he releases a full installation with all the runtimes included.
How long does it normally take Microsoft to also update the vbrun60.exe package?

Has anyone created his own vbrun60.exe with success?
(Combination of all necessary files and a foolproof, reliable installation)
Please share it!

Thanks everybody,
best regards,
David.

The vbrun60.exe is in the vbrun60.cab which is the Core distribution at
least.  Yoe can extract it with Extract.exe or WinZip 7.0 or Win98.
