I've been trying off and on to write a telnet application for half a year
now, but the process does not seem to be well documented at all. I would
very much appreciate anyone who can give me any hints. Source code would be
especially helpful. I actually took a look at some Java source code, but
couldn't figure it out (partly because it referred to other classes in order
to do its dirty work).

I'm using VB5, enterprise edition, so I think that any VB stuff you an send
should be helpful. Also, just links to web resources, design tips, or useful
factoid would all be nice.
