Smit #1 / 3	Coolbar in VB6 According to the documentation, the CoolBar control in VB6 requires that Internet Explorer 3.0 or later be installed on both the development computer as well as any computer where the CoolBar control will be distributed. This must be true but I can't believe it. Is there any way to have a CoolBar control without forcing your user to have IE? Brian

RJol #3 / 3	Coolbar in VB6 MS provides a file called 40comupd.exe that will install a later version of the comctl32.dll that is all you need to use the coolbar control. Search for it on the MS web site.
