MS Fortran Powerstation Arrays to VB4

How can you pass arrays (character strings or reals) from fortran
Powerstation 4.0 to VB4 Enterprise.  I know how to pass reals, integers
and strings as individual items but arrays are proving difficult.  As a
VB4 newbie some actual code samples would be helpful.  The VB and
Powerstation examples don't deal with array passing in the dll (at
least as far as I can see).  Thks.
