 Creating a Program Item in Win 3.1 and Win NT

Hello,

How do I create a Program Item in an existing Program Group in Win 3.1 and Win NT using VB 4.0?

Thanks,

Mark

Win3.1: See the SetupWizards installation program (\VB\SETUPKIT\SETUP1\)
for an example.

WinNT: Idunno. Maybe the same code works, maybe not.

Create ProgGroup

GruppenName$=text1.Text
text1.LinkMode=0
text1.LinkTopic="Progman|Progman"
text1.LinkMode2
text1.LinkExecute"[CreateGroup("+GruppenName$+")]"
text1.LinkMode=0

Create Prog

GruppenName$=text1.Text
ProgrammName$=text2.Text
text1.LinkMode=0
text1.LinkTopic="Progman|Progman"
text1.LinkMode=2
text1.LinkExecute"[ShowGroup("+GruppenName$+",1"+")]"
text1.LinkExecute "[Additem(+ProgrammName$+","+ProgrammName$+")]"
