I am working on a status project. I need to generate a Gantt chart from
project data in a database, Does anyone know of an OCX that will generate a
Gantt chart. I think I have seen one in a magazine, but I looked through all
my back issues and cannot find one.  Any help would be appreciated.

PS I am also thinking of using MS Project and VBA to create the chart, but
then I need to save it as a graphic to display on a web. ANy thoughts along
these lines would help as well. TMS

You could use OLE Automation to control Project, and if you install IE 3.0,
I think it also comes with some Object files which will work quite well.  I
have tons of html based ocx's but I have no idea where they came from, they
just appeared after I installed IE 3.0, so I'd assume that they came from
there.  I could be wrong, but I think it came from the Active X Control pad
and/or HTML Layout Control that comes with IE 3.0.
