        These positions are available in the IS Department of
        Darden Restaurants Inc.  Darden Restaurants is the
        largest casual dinnerhouse organization in the world. You
        know us better as The Olive Garden and Red Lobster.  

        We design, code, implement, and support systems needed
        by The Olive Garden and Red Lobster as well as enterprise
        information systems and decision support systems needed
        here at the central office in Orlando.

        We have an immediate opening for a Programmer Analyst.

        You will be responsible for designing, planning, coding,
        testing and supporting systems or components within specific
        technology areas.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

        The ideal candidate would have the following experience:

        o  3-5 years of structured programming and analysis
        o  Visual Basic V3.0 expertise (we are evaluating VB 4.0)
        o  C++ expertise (Microsoft Visual C++ experience preferred)
        o  Experience with relational databases (Informix a plus)
        o  Object oriented design experience (OMT method a plus)
        o  Microsoft Foundation Class experience
        o  Good written and verbal communication skills
        o  Experience working with end users
        o  Knowledge of retail or restaurant business
