 Dates and JET 3.5

Hi,

has anyone experienced the following?

In 16-bit, when using JET and ODBC, you has to pass dates in queries in
MM/DD/YY format (ie. American). I'm using VB5 and JET 3.5 now, and this no
longer seems to be the case. I have my pc set up to use British date
formats (DD/MM/YY) and it appears that I have to pass the dates in this
format, else they get screwed up. Anyone else seen this ?
