Visual Basic 6 run-times requires Windows 95 build 708 or later

The Visual Basic 6 run-time requires Windows 95 build 708 or later. What
instructions should I give potential customers in order for them to
check their Windows 95 build number? If they don't have build 708 or
later, can they upgrade in any way from the www eg. microsoft.com?

Thanks for your help.
Gurpal.
