Runtime error 91/Object variable or With block variable not set problems
Hi,
Not sure if this is the right newsgroup, but I'm sure if it's not
someone will be able to direct me somewhere more appropriate.
We're rolling out a package made by the Package and Deployment wizard
in VB6.
The product connects to a SQL2K database using ADO and installs fine
in all cases. However, whilst the program opens in Win95, it fails to
run correctly. It generates 'Runtime error 91' messages, with lots of
'Object variable not set' and 'Object variable With block not set'
messages as controls (buttons and dropdowns) are used.
The product works fine with Win2K and Win98 OS's, it's the Win95
machines that throw up the problems.
Does anybody have any ideas as to cause and solution please. Upgrading
the Win95 machines isn't an option at this time.
Regards,
Martin.
