Help on reducing VB 4.0 32 bit overhead running under Win NT 3.51

Can someone please send me some information regarding how to reduce application's
written in VB 4.0 32 bit running under Win NT 3.51?  Currently, each instance
of the application uses about 3 meg of memory.  Since we are planning to run
5 or more VB apps at the same time, we run out of memory pretty quickly even
with 32 meg since NT needs about 10 Meg and other softwares such as Word and
Excel needs another 5 meg or so.  I remember some one said that the run time DLL's
can be shared between these apps so if anyone can help, send me an email at

Thanks!!!
