Does anyone know of a Toolbar control which can do the following 1) Is dockable (similar to MS Word etc) and freely movable so that you can make it vertical/horizontal 2) Allows you to add combo boxes etc controls on top of it.

It's not free, but it is good. Activebar from datadynamics (www.datadynamics.com), you can download a free evaluation copy.

you can also try sheridan activetoolsbars. its not even close to free, but it does an excellent job.
