New York VB Group meets Nov 3rd - Free
The November meeting of the NYPC
Visual Basic group will take place on
Wed November 3rd at 6:30 pm at Microsoft's NY headquarters at 49th
street and 8th ave in Manhattan (825 8th ave). Use the west (plaza)
entrance between 8th and 9th ave. Tell the nice people at the desk
that you want to attend the VB sig and they'll send you up to the 18th
floor conference room.
The discussion this month will center around "things I didn't know
about VB - or forgot". Sort of a tips and tricks demo on a fairly
elementary level but those of us who have been using VB since version
1 have missed some things that got inserted along the way. A fair
amount of the demo will be tips on creating MDI (multiple document
interface) applications.
As usual, there is no fee to attend but people who continue to attend
are expected to pay the $35 annual fee to join the New York PC Users
Group that sponsers this group as well as thirty other Special
Interest Groups including Access, C++, Investing, Delphi, WinNT and
2000, and so on.
You must be a member to win any prizes - but I guess you can join on
the spot.
