 Huge clbvm Source Code Archive

Hey All,

Is it just me, or are there so many redundant
questions in this group it almost hurts?

Proposal: Why don't the people of this group
build a giant repository of VB code?

I know that everyone will be on my back about
the VBKB, and the FAQ, but when was the last
time either of them were _REALLY_ updated?

And besides that, who here actually reads the
faq before posting? at least 1/4 of everyone
does *not*, am I correct?

I have written some really neat (I think) source
code for image processing, steps for self-modifying
progs, and other stuff that I've kept mainly to
myself.

        Well, any comments?

True, if by redundant you mean that the answers are already in the FAQ,
KB, VB Manuals

Cica pub/pc/win3/programr/vbasic/vlib was set up for VB code
contributions.  Karl & Gary's site http://www.apexsc.com/vb/ also
accepts contributions.

The most recent VBKB is dated 20 April 95 and AFAIK is updated on about
a three month cycle.

There is no way of estimating how many people read the FAQ without some
sort of survey.  Estimating, say, that on average 1/4 of the questions
posted are answered in the FAQ doesn't imply anything about the number
of people who actually read the FAQ.

Share it with us via Cica and/or Karl & Gary's Home Page.
