I cannot have "E&xit" support ALT-X in VB4's toolbar button caption, even
though the help page says it does.  Is there some trick to it?

How does one log bugs with MS anyway without having to call them?

A toolbar supports a menubar, it should never have anything on
it that is not on the menubar.  So but the accelerator on the
menuItem and call the same code from the menuItem and the
toolbar buttton.
