 Anonymous mail sending ...?

Hello,

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm trying to write a small program for staff at the polytechnic to send
problems to me anonymously via e-mail. I'll receive the mails in MS-MAIL.
But I want to ensure anonymity ... how do I receive mails from people.
but without the sender info?

Would I have to write my own mail receiving program ... or what?

Thanks in advance,
Douglas

I think the only way is to create a new user on your mail server, and
give the password to everybody, so they can log into this account and
send you email from it.

Note sure, but try this:

Set up a dummy user ie: VBMonitor, set up his mailbox on each user's
machine, then use that sender, your now up with anonymity.

Let me know if this helps. :)

If your users have internet access you could use an Anonymous Server.
From my reading of the anon.penet.fi help file the server will strip
the real sender from mail addressed  _to_  a user with an anonymous
id. It is not necessary for each sender to establish an anonymous id.
The help file can be obtained by sending an email message to

If your users are not on the internet or the volume of traffic would
be significant I am sure, from the tone of the help file, that the
operator would provide the source code of his server. He can be

Douglas:

                                        ANONYMOUS E-MAIL

The "anon server" provides a front for sending mail messages and
posting to Usenet newsgroups anonymously, should the need ever arise.
