Unexpected Error 50003, need help and wait online!!!
Hi, anybody knows how it happens: I put 3 picture controls a 2nd form. in picture property of each picture control I signed a ico file to, this ico file a about 5kb which I made myself. the problem is when I run my program on one of XP machines, I got unexpected error 50003, I can not load 2nd form, on another one xp machine no problem. Does anyone know reason why it occures? Thanx Fred

There are many reasons for 50003 occurring. Try a search on MS Knowledge Base. Other VB assistance sites are also available. I had the error which was caused by incompatible OCX versions, but this may not be the cause of your problem. Malcolm

I have seen similiar behavior when I try to load an image that has a pallette too big for the target system, for example, the image is 64 bit color and the target system is set for 16 bit.

George, you worry me. 64 bit colour? I haven't heard of that. It's about <um, counts on fingers and thumbs> a million million million colours. Wow! Have I missed something? Often happens :-) Regards. -- Martin Trump
