This position is with a very small company involved in mobile radio
communications based in the West of London.

The work is for the development of a standalone Visual Basic PC
application for surveying the coverage of mobile radio communication
systems (such as MPT1327 and TETRA). It involves real-time communication
with GPS and mobile radio receivers as well as post-survey analysis and
display using maps and graphs.

Much of the development has been completed so that a working
demonstrator currently exists. However some core functionality still
needs to be developed and the whole product brought to the point where
it can be sold. There will be the need for ongoing development and
support.

Being such a small company this position will suit someone who is very
self-motivated with plenty of initiative and willing to get involved
with all aspects of product development.

If you have at least 1 years experience of VB and some engineering
background perhaps in mobile radio, RS232 communications, digital signal
processing of speech then please contact me! This position could be
either 6 month contract or permanent.
