 Setting TCP/IP Address

Is there a way in VB (via API or Registry entries?) to SET or CHANGE the
TCP/IP address of a computer??

Any help would be appreciated!

I thought this could only be done on connection to the server and cannot be
done any other time.
Am I right?

We have a freeware SocketWrench control which can get your IP address
table, allowing you to set or change your computer's TCP/IP address.
