cannot register crystl32.ocx during setup
I'm getting a 'Cannot register crystl32.ocx' error message during setup
when trying to install a VB4/32 application on a user's machine. The
setup was created with the VB4 setup wizard. I'm using Crystal 5.0 and
VB 4.0a (32) with MS Access 7.0 databases. Here's the crystl32.ocx
section from my swdepend.ini:
[CRYSTL32.OCX]
Register=$(DLLSelfRegister)
Dest=$(WinSysPath)
Uses1=OCX Runtime Support
Uses2=CRPE32.DLL
Uses3=CRXLAT32.DLL
Uses4=u2ddisk.dll
Uses5=u2fdif.dll
Uses6=u2frec.dll
Uses7=u2fsepv.dll
Uses8=u2ftext.dll
Uses9=P2BDAO.DLL
Uses10=P2CTDAO.DLL
Uses11=P2IRDAO.DLL
Uses12=P2SODBC.DLL
Uses13=P2BBND.DLL
Uses14=
Is there a file missing here that Crystal needs or do I need to pre-copy
one or more of these into the Windows System directory? I've run into
this problem before with MSRDO32.OCX. In that case the missing file was
ctl3d32.dll. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I need to get this
application installed before going on vacation next week so the user can
test while I'm away.
Thanks,
